All the attacks on 'white culture' and claims of 'white supremacy' and 'systematic racism' are attempts to deflect from the fact that a significant portion of black folks, who live in the dysfunctional 'black culture' cannot assimilate into a civilization that is past the hunter/gatherer level.
Instead of demanding accountability and civility, and holding people to simple standards and rules for a society, they attack that society as racist.
'black culture' in America did not used to be this way. I wasn't there but it seems like middle to late 60's it went downhill.
Not a 'black' culture thing, it is urban culture that is the problem. There should be no 'assimilation' for families that have been here now for many generations. Rather there are destructive forces in play making excuses and raising the like of george floyd to sainthood maliciously.
Yeah, I'm wary of what I see with my own eyes in this regard. The media tends to paint with such an ugly biased brush. What you never see are strong black families with good kids and honest jobs just chasing the American dream and you know those people are out there. Men and woman who make good neighbors and good friends. We are rarely shown those folks on the news.
Urban black culture is terribly broken. Poor, Ignorant blacks are being preyed upon by race hustlers and socialists the same as pharma have victimized rural whites with narcotics and the disability treadmill.
It sure seems like urban blacks are trying with all their might to make everyone on the planet despise them. And predominantly black nations seem backwards and prone to failure. But most of the communist democides have been arranged by whites and Asians. They are all failures.
Ask yourself this - if the black community adopted mainstream white American culture, would the level of criminality drop sharply? I believe it would.
I think the differences are real but are exaggerated by those with a keen interest in dividing us. The difference is smaller than we think. The subject is so politicized that you can't trust any source. So be careful, because there are people out there showing you what they want you to believe. We are all being manipulated.
As is said, the cream rises to the top. You see what you want to see, or more correctly these days what the PTB want you to see. There are plenty of black families working and living the American dream out there. But that is not who THEY want you to see.
Can blacks succeed in America? Hell yes, but the .gov lead decay in urban culture has severely tied their hands. Insert my president johnson meme here about having them voting democrat for 200 years. If there is no reason to be industrious and work then human nature is always going to win out. The urban population is being played as the next round of useful idiots. Being as they posess very little productive life skills they will be the first to feel the blow of commie 'down sizing' when the time arrives.
Stegs you are a reader, find Night Comes to the Cumberland by Harry Cudill. An easy read about the coal fields of Eastern Kentucky, very insightful especially when read now 60 some years later.
White culture requires a level of intelligence many don't appear to possess. Those that have the minimum level to succeed seem to do so, but they're a minority in a minority.
No 'white' culture about it... Plenty if white trash out there living off the system. The education system has been systematically destroyed, the urban districts (aka democrat/union controlled) don't stand a chance.
Thomas Sowell is a national treasure. And in his defense, there was some merit in some of the things Malcolm X supported. He hated white liberals, for example.
I guess this is as good a spot to throw this out as any since the thread seems to be drifting towards racial sociology.
The thing that I struggle to get my mind around because nobody has ever been able to explain it to me is why the Black Community generally shuns people like Thomas Sowell and Dr. Ben Carson as being "Uncle Toms" for daring to better themselves, rise above poverty, and take on a commanding position in society. Most of the leaders that I see in the Black Community these days bear the title "Reverend", which is commendable, but also tend to end up with a litany of morally questionable problems and/or legal issues. It's like the culture creates a negative reinforcement loop that attempts to prevent anyone from rising above their station by wit and merit. I don't get it; all this talk of breaking the cycle of poverty, violence, and narcotics, and then you're immediately shit on if you try to actually do it. From outward appearances, its like the only way out is to be a celebrity influencer, entertainer, or athlete. And there ain't enough openings for those to go around. To many others lean on politicians' promises of righting generational injustices and staying stuck where they are.
American culture has been lead to shy away from productivity. Lead to the 'easy and fast buck'. It's all been a part of the .gov plan, accelerated under johnson. The PTB don't want to celebrate Sowell etc because he does not fit the mold of who they want, aka more useful idiots. The PTB use their 'social influencers' in the msm and other peer pressures to exclude the productive and those that have seen the light. Even hildabeast too flack for saying 'all lives matter' because that was not the narrative the PTB wanted pushed. Lean on the .gov all you want ti solve problems, keep waiting, they will only make the problems worse (but I think we had that thread last week).
