I'm well OVER 40 and just bought my first one an hour ago. That has got to be something worse than a heretic but I'm not sure what.If you're under 40 and one of those heretics who doesn't own a 1911, then this is for you.

What you use to be doesn't matter when you're seeking salvation, only what you are now and will be tomorrow.I'm well OVER 40 and just bought my first one an hour ago. That has got to be something worse than a heretic but I'm not sure what.
That's beautiful! Far more inspiring than any of MOS11C's posts! What you use to be doesn't matter when you're seeking salvation, only what you are now and will be tomorrow.

A buddy I was talking to last night told me the LGS near him now charges $70.00 for transfers.I had looked at and thought about those when I saw them at $425 in the LGS and then they were gone, except for the 9mm one. Seems like a very well made pistol. Mine should be here next week. Not that I need another .45. Purchases like this piss the shop owner off since folks are not buying directly from him. He was really bummed last week when he received a $12,000 bolt rifle that he was only making $40 for the transfer.
I want one in 9mm too. Outside of my highway patrolman the .45 version is my favorite pistol to shoot. The cheapest I see the 9mm one is $375.I want one in 9mm. I'm a s1ssy I don't care.
Saw that. The 9mm for $299 would be a no brainer for me.I want one in 9mm too. Outside of my highway patrolman the .45 version is my favorite pistol to shoot. The cheapest I see the 9mm one is $375.
