I find it amazing how many F3s survived late (early 1980s), yet only two or three are left today.September 1980, an F3 and an F9 B unit lead 5 GP7's out of Coulee City wa. headed east to Cheney. The lead engine is former Spokane, Portland, and Seattle, it spent a few years after the merger as a power unit for rotary plows before being repainted and pressed into locomotive service.
