Pre Ban-Five Line early GI built parts gun by Springfield Armory in/around 1980-1981 according to my research. This rifle is chambered in 7.62 NATO (.308) and features a Harrington and Richardson Barrel that is about new looking. Standard M14 flash hider and bayonet lug.
The GI Stock is very solid. Free of cracks or major dents, with a faint acceptance stamp on the left side the selector switch cut out area still present. Includes one 20 round steel mag as shown where legal.
