Updated and the system does work as it’s supposed to, the issue is old contributors not stopping their old subscriptions and resubscribing. This ends up with failures to update and then PayPal shuts down out payment notification system and that fucks everyone. The only reasonable solution on my end to fix the issue is to literally nuke everyone’s auto renewal from the PayPal side.

I stopped auto renewal and will hopefully remember to do it next year. Will PayPal still work or do we need to use another method to pay?

Thank you for the fix, love is back in the air.

paypal works, it’s just getting older contributors to cancel their old auto-renewals that’s causing the issue. Will likely crop up from time to time (every 2-3 months) due to PayPal errors with old subscriptions

Jen, with all due respect to you. FF, and your current medical issue, can you please arrange a way to make payment other than PayPal or Venmo, both confirmed wholly owned subsidiary of the Chicoms, for us Americans who have chosen to opt out of the program?
I mean literally , I'll mail it to a PO box, a generous contribution.
I just want to give the site money. I love this place. I've been through my own hell in the last few years, but this site has never failed me. Nor have the members.
I want to contribute, just not via a communist run paysite.

Mine was missing for a long while so you’re definitely not alone with the non-contributor status. It took over a month for me hopefully you get better taken care of

I renewed on 1-17, and submitted a ticket on 1-24. It doesn't look like Jen has been on since then, though.
