Searching for serial numbers/markings/countries of location for the SIG AMT (and Dr. Wohler 4x7 scope) and PE57 (and Kern 4x24 scope)--- trying to determine how many of each are in the U.S.--- any information is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed!!! :)

reluctant oweners

Tony I think those that are lucky enough to have these guns are probably reluctant to advertise ownership for security reasons especially from the federal government Hi dollar value and personal security is probably a big factor as well

Understandable and have no problem with such concerns--- but for those that really know me, they know that I am legitimate and strongly believe in privacy--- I never ask for specific personal information--- this type of information has allowed me to answer general questions on numbers imported, markings, configurations, etc., on a wide variety of firearms. :)

I spoke to the owner of those rifles which were withdrawn

. He took them down because he decided he wasn't ready to part with them. Can't blame him a bit. Anyone who has owned one of those knows how difficult they are to locate.
