So, somebody wants to build a machine that can do a “thing“ and they managed to make it able to do this “thing“ and are successful in making this machine do the thing they want it to do and that is somehow incredible. It’s a fucking machine. Cars (machine) are built to get my ass down the road. The cars I’ve chosen seem to be able to do that pretty damn good. I’m not surprised that it does because it was designed to do that. If you want to build a dancing robot, build it so that it actually dances otherwise, it just isn’t very impressive is it? It’s hard to imagine that even a fleet of two or three of these machines can somehow be practical in cost or otherwise. Suburban Joe and his wife Susie Homemaker won’t be the ones buying these things. It’s going to be government’s and corporations that will effectively be able to operate such machinery.
