FTH 61,
- Can you show whole image of gun, both sides.
- Also detail , possibly disassembled ,
- anyone interested would be greatly interested to see the long forearm in detail, examine it for cracks and
- an image of the back end of the forearm that butts up against the receiver and the front end as well

Thanks, JB

...and nice score on the A5 turbo, don't see these come up fer sale very often
Thanks Jimmbob. They're both ARS builds so Mark G. did the mixing and matching of the paint on the receivers . Top one was a kit build that I recently posted up. The para has previously been posted about by FTH and is a pretty unique piece as the key parts were apparently modified and or manufactured in post Rhodesia Zimbabwe...most likely for the use of a rapid reaction force of the mercenary leader Col Lionel Dyk according to FTH61's research.

I know this is old news to most people here but FTH61 is a great seller and gentleman to deal with and his knowledge of the "Bush Wars" of southern Africa is quite impressive. Congrats to both buyer and seller on the sale of this very cool item.

If FTH61 is still checking this thread, would be interested in any personal info re the source of these FN Police Model shotguns and their journey to Rhodesia. There seems to be a number of differing stories on this. I managed to snag one of these unicorns before the moon shot in prices, couldn't afford one now. BTW, if interested, below is a listing of the Rhodie shotguns that have appeared in web pics.

I always thought of you @Nihonto Chicken the expert on these 😁. I only know what I've read over in the shotgun thread.

Might as well add this beretta to the list…seems to follow the sequence. My guess is it was marked after independence in mid 1980 as these weapons were rounded up for inventory. Those unmarked thus received a serial number following the last of the ones recorded previously by the Rhodesian army.
