People Are Going To Go Absolutely Insane When Food Prices Double Or Triple From Current Levels

If you think people are angry right now, just wait until food prices explode to levels that hardly anyone ever anticipated. The perfect storm of events is creating a completely nightmarish scenario for food production in 2022, which means that food supply chains will be facing immense stress in 2023. Most people don’t even know this, but we’re still consuming the food that was grown last year, and given that far less food than originally projected is being grown right now, soon executives, grocers, consumers, and authorities will start realizing that there isn’t enough food supplies to feed everyone. Devastating droughts are still destroying millions of acres of crops in the United States, and geopolitical conflicts are greatly restricting the flow of agricultural goods around the globe.
BLACK BLADE: Be ready, be stocked and be armed. The Grasshoppers will be looking to take from the Ants. As stated in the video, we are still consuming last year's food supplies. The lower harvests and lack of fertilizers and petroleum based AG chemicals we could be looking at some very lean times and much higher food prices over the next couple years and perhaps beyond.

When Millions Of People Starve To Death?

Of course, these issues are just the tip of the iceberg. All around the planet, agricultural production is going to be way down this year, and we will be facing the repercussions of that decline in 2023. We really are in the cust of a devastating global crisis right, and the coming months are going to be filled with despair.

BLACK BLADE: Prices are still dirt cheap (more or less) given the real rate of inflation. Looks like 2023 should be a rather interesting year. Midterms are shaping up to be another victory for the Dems in the House and Senate so it will very likely get much much worse than expected.

Waiting for the other shoe to drop. Was at Sams the weekend to add to supplies.they were very overstocked on staples ie dry goods and staple foods. Some prices up moderately .some down.
Huge overstock on soft drinks, paper products. Paper products up 10%.More rice and brands of than Ive seen before. Clothing prices up.
A shopper could put away a survival years supply + of beans and rice and basics for $500 .

Already happening in my neck of the woods. Only go to the local supermarket for the super basics like paper goods sugar flour coffee. We look at the stuff on the shelves and most products are easily 1/3 higher already. We have a very small tight knit circle of family and friends that we barter with and happy to report we all are a hell of a lot more non reliant on stores for almost everything also including utilities and lumber

Buy Lots Of Food And Store It Some Place Safe, Because Very Difficult Times Are Approaching

After two years of continued interruptions in food production, global food supplies have gotten really tight. But now that extreme weather events are leading to the mass destruction of crops and the liquidation of beef cow herds, while a bird flu pandemic is resulting in the depopulation of millions of egg-laying chickens, food supplies are set to get even tighter. And when people start realizing that massive shortages are emerging everywhere, it’s safe to say that things are going to get a lot crazier. When even the UN starts using the word “biblical” to describe the famine that the world is facing, that is a sign that the hour is very late. Right now, food prices are aggressively shooting higher, but given that the Federal Reserve is still scrambling to contain inflation growth, this is about as low as food prices are going to get for the foreseeable future, and that is going to have very serious implications during the times that are ahead. We still have a window of opportunity before the next wave of trouble comes along, and in this video, we’re going to show you why you should use this window of opportunity to buy lots of food and store it some place safe.
BLACK BLADE: Wife canned several jars of homemade pasta sauce. Just keep adding to food storage.

Major US Retailers Warn: Lower-Income Consumers Are In Trouble

Retailers are having a tough time as low-tier consumers appear exhausted. Even Dollar Tree slashed its full-year profit outlook, citing a higher cost of living and inventory woes due to economic pressure on low-tier consumers. Remember that Walmart had already cut its profit outlook as consumers purchased less-profitable groceries. Also from the summer was AT&T when CEO John Stankey said customers are starting to put off paying their phone bills. And then there's the figure of at least 20 million households -- or about 1 in 6 American homes -- are behind on their power bills. Retailers warning about the souring state of less-affluent consumers is troubling, despite Biden and his senior aides reaffirming every week that everything is wonderful ahead of the midterm elections in November.

35 Things We Know About The Coming Food Shortages

We’re on the cusp of a catastrophic food crisis, and massive foos shortages are emerging all over the world. Things are going to get far worse than what they’re telling us. Over the past few months, we have been reporting a series of facts and stats that show that global food production is set to collapse to perilously low levels this year. In other words, the food that isn’t being grown in 2022 won’t be available at the stores in 2023. Unfortunately, most people out there don’t seem to realize the real extent of the food shortages that we’re about to experience. And it’s not only in the US.

Dude, all this talk makes me want to buy a couple of calves Problem is they would become pets. If people spent the same time making their food instead of spending it on the innerwebs, there would be no problem.

Our freeze drier just finished the second batch of salsa.
One more to go, then the peaches.
Then we have got to run a load of eggs because chickens are doing well.

Have been saying for some time three houses in sight of the Ponderosa would need to be exterminated as quickly as possible in a real SHTF situation. Wife has noticed significant traffic pattern change at house closest to us on the list. Every evening in back yard would be a dozen or more Mexican men drinking beer, listening to loud music, cooking on grills and acting rowdy. Wife mentioned at one point it had been a month since seen anyone but the wife and kids so she walked over.

Turns out the wife got tired of her husband spending majority of his paycheck on alcohol, stereo equipment for his truck, feeding his neer-do-well friends and not helping with the kids. Gave him an ultimatum to change his ways, keep grass cut (she was paying landscape company) contribute to expenses and help watch kids. She said came home from work the next day and he was gone. Sent her a text no woman would tell him how to act and wasn't coming back ever.

Luckily she had bought the house in her name so he has no claim but left her with two teen girls, seven year old boy and twin six year old boys. Wife discovered he had taken a lot of furniture which we have an abundance of in basement so took over a few nice living room chairs and a table. Been taking her one bag of groceries every week for three weeks. Yesterday without us asking she had all her kids in our yard raking leaves.

Wife offered to watch her kids on rare occasion if in a pinch but doubt that will happen. The 17 and 19 year old girls are good with the boys. When I feel better going to interact more as it won't be long before the seven and two six year old boys will be early teens and useful. Wife told her day oldest turns 16 he has a job if wants it when not in school. Other two when they turn 16. They go to Hispanic mission at church we are attending at present so thinking if play this right can befriend three young strong teens/men.

Right across the street, can use them to do yard maintenance and if they seem to be trustworthy then teach them to shoot rimfire in the back yard. So now this house has gone from glue the door locks and windows shut then set on fire to cultivate into possible long term friends. Did that with the Hispanics across street from my business and their kids have been helping maintain the yard for about a year. Anything odd they see and get a call.

Cost of one bag of quality groceries bought on sale that probably feeds them three to four meals per week and some hand me down furniture we needed out of the way. Wife has boxes of Levi's and other cloths from her 20s through mid 40s she plans to slowly pass to the teen girls and in the process of Christian charity hopefully flip a neighbor we felt a threat into an asset. Took a strong woman to kick out her husband with five kids under the roof but said boys were getting old enough was afraid they would begin picking up their fathers bad habits.

Fact they came and raked yard, put all sticks and limbs that have fallen on our burn pile without being asked is a good sign. Wife is going to pull some more furniture then cloths for the teens and see if she can build a relationship with the females. I get feeling better and will try to entertain while teaching the boys. Will start by trying to get them in our church Boy Scout troop and work from that angle in beginning. May not work but knowing the deadbeat husband and all his friends are gone for good is a great start.

Grocery prices explode under Biden, now forecast to get even worse

As diesel prices surge higher and crop failures are a given, it should get rather interesting in the next few months as the "Grasshoppers" and "Ants" face off.

Nobody is laughing at Preppers anymore.

Buy Lots Of Food And Stock Up Now Because This Is Going To Be A Really Dark Winter

Food shortages are a reality, not a theory, and people need to start preparing while they still can. Industry executives are explicitly telling us that food prices will not come down any time soon, and the convergence of all of these factors is creating a “perfect storm” for food inflation both in the short and long term. So if you still have a job, use this precious opportunity to stockpile food before the economy breaks down hard.

Watched some PMSNBC idiot yesterday spouting that the repubs are blaming inflation on FJB, but they don’t have an answer/solution. The stage has been set for crazy prices/shortages in the coming months, it’s not going to matter who takes the house or senate, it’s crashing. The libs will start wagging fingers then saying we told ya so. We are fucked
