JUMBO Redskin Roasted Peanuts for our Troops

We would be interested in providing some peanuts to our service folks, especially those in rough places and harm's way. My wife has a small company startup underway, Carolina Select Premium Peanuts. Man are they good!

Our resources are VERY limited at this point so what we will be able to do may largely be dependent on donations, etc. to help us make this possible. We will try to discount the peanuts as much as possible for this worthy cause. In fact we don't know actually what level of financial contribution we could make to help this happen but we would like to discover what is possible with your assistance.

Please see the offer for Jumbo redskin peanuts in the Market/Flea market section to try some for yourself! I could'nt think of where else to put it.

This thread looks like the place for this.

We're not sure how to go about this. How, who to send to. What orgs. or folks are the best to work, maybe how to work with PXs etc, to get this accomplished. We bascially know nothing about to proceed.

Those with experience, contacts and who could help coordinate to help on this topic would be great to hear from.

I think the troops would like our Peanuts! We'd like for them to have some!

I'm headed back over in about 2 months and I appreciate you offer. I LOVED the nuts you send with our trade. I'm not asking for free nuts but you WILL get an order from me when I hit the ground again!

I would like to thank the 'Files family for taking care of me on my last couple deployments. I received several packages from ya'll and they were GREAT!!

I'm hesitant to post names of folks that sent stuff for fear of leaving somone out, but I would like to thank them anyway.

AussieAndy the closet Jeep fan kept me supplied with some really cool Aussie 4x4 mags along with other great stuff.

Larphred not only sent packages, but hooked me up and got me into the '08 SHOT show as an exhibiter, as well as some really cool gear that will be going back with me again this trip. THANKS!!!!

Trebor (wonder what ever happened to him???) got me hooked up with my first FAL kit to build a couple years ago. I can't thank him enough!!!!

I'm sure I've missed a ton of others, but my gratitude is no less for them.

Youngest son deployed in the Stan presently on the east side which I understand is not the friendlier side. He registered here years ago, forgot his handle, but I'm sure he hasn't had time in a spell to surf these boards. I am guessing his fireamr of choice at the moment is his issue M-4, ar whatever they gave him, but I doubt it's an FAL.

Don't think I should post actual adresses in public to send goodies, but will gladly send PM's for those interested.

Well, here I am deployed now. Don't really need anything - I'm at a big base, but wanted to thank everybody who's sent stuff overseas for our troops. Christmas was a lot nicer here because of the tons of stuff that folks like y'all sent to us.

As Martin said, it's been awhile since anyone posted in this thread, so I'll hit it up too.


If anyone is currently deployed and you need something, give me a shout. I'm a retired Paratrooper with over 83 months deployed, so I know how it is. Sometimes you're at a large base with access to most anything you'd need/want, sometimes you're out at a COP making due with what you can scrounge.

I work on Ft Bragg as a DA Civ now, so I have ready access to all of the local surplus stores etc if you need something, and the Comissary if you WANT something.
