You’ll like it.

Especially for the price paid.

I carried the Civilian while walking the dog just now.

That “Emerson” wave-thing on the Endura still scares me. It’s cool when it catches the lip of the britches pocket correctly. Scary when it catches wrong, and tries to get me to stick a finger between the fangs and the handle. A suddenly bloody hand is a pretty retarded way to start a knife fight.

Yeah... I don't THINK I have one of those waved critters yet, and one with a blade like that either. At that price point, screw it, good a time as any... Problem is, if THIS one works out, I can see a whole new collecting direction... And damn, I MEAN that.

Also in the pic is my beloved Buck 110 lightweight.

Notice that I have equipped the Buck with TWO pocket clips. I REALLY like having two clips. I can operate the knife from any pocket, and the two clips give an excellent enhancement for gripping the knife. Acts sort of like a “pommel.”

I prefer the “tip-up” orientation for clipped-carry in the pocket.

I have a similar rig, or rather I found a custom deep clip for it and gave it to the Mrs. as her "boot" knife (because she wears it clipped to the inside right top of her dress boots) She had a crapload of knives to choose from, that was her pick.

For $200 you can get a lot of knives.

I’m really liking even the little $2 TEMU knife. The carabiner clip allows you to attach one to anything and everything.

Even has a hole for attaching a thumb-stud or a zip-tie if you wanna make the little guy a one-hand opener

I’m such a loser that today was SWITCHBLADE DAY in Virginia, and I forgot to carry a switchblade all day!

Although carrying the CIVILIAN sort of makes up for it.

confusion about what knife to carry is “knife fog”

Watch now NONE of these will fit any of the holes.

Annnnnnnd...

None of them worked.

Let's try some metric sizes.

Untitled.jpg

My shitty plastic Vernier caliper says the screws that came out of the knife are 3mm.

But the size I need for one of the sides is smaller diameter. Maybe 2.5mm.
Of course no chance that the 2.5 screws I receive will be the CORRECT THREAD PITCH.

TEMU kept promoting these knives, so I bought both of them.

Cost for the both was about $10 delivered.

The smaller green-handle is the more-appealing to me. The Orange-handle is, well... Orange. I don't dig orange color much. Knife seems pretty good for the price anyhow.

I should probably stop buying goofy cheap knives. But I probably won't.

Knifekits.com screws arrived today.

Metric it is on the Kershaw fake.

Two different sizes.

Good news is, the 2.5mmx45 screws from Knifekits.com DO FIT the small holes on the fake Kershaw.

Untitled (2).jpg

Bad news is, while the 3.0mm DIAMETER appears correct for the other size, the thread-pitch (50 tpi) from the knifekits.com site is too fine.
I suspect the correct tpi is 45.

A vendor on Etsy is selling a two-pack of "Kershaw" screws which really look a lot like the clip-screws I pulled out of my knife.
etsy screws kershaw.jpg

I don't think I'm going to order the Etsy screws, because since I have a second knife of the exact same type, I have two sets of whatever size screws actually fit the big holes.

And now that I have the 2.5x45 screws, I have what I need for the small holes too.

What I DON'T have is a couple extra Kershaw-type clips. Good news is the hole-spacing for a BUCK type clip is correct for the Kershaw. I have one eBay BUCK clip, and I have another spare "genuine" buck clip in a drawer around here.

I may be good to go as far as finally having the screws to make two complete fake Kershaw knives, each with dual pocket clips.
I'm into dual pocket clips. Which is why I've been ranting about this.
