Japanese Nambu type 14 value

Believe born on date Feb of 1939, first year of larger trigger guard Nagoya Arsenal mark kinda looks like 8 inside of a circle
The 2nd symbol means Nambu Rifle Manufacturing at Kokubunji suburb of Tokyo

Note: Has replacement grips, a broken retention spring, some pitting on top left side. On the trigger there are some ping marks on rifle retention pin
Nickel plated mag, early one maybe correct for the time me frame just not serial # match, cocking knob # not a match.
Leather holster is very good

looking for any info belongs to family friend he wants sell it
Pricing info be appreciated not sure how much the replacement parts and condition affects the collectibility


I did not see any import markings - if someone knows where they marked them let me know

I don't know what current values are but, just looking at condition in the photos, the holster may be more valuable than the pistol...

Mag retention springs are out there. Replacement grips lowers the value. I would say he should be able to get $700-$975 for this rig as is. If the spring was intact and original grips, about $1100-$1250.

No spare mag or firing pin a cloth is stuffed in the pocket
So it would not collapse

Pre war made. Well used. Non original grips and broken retention spring . Around $500. Nice fair condition holster. Around $300.
