I asked the question because 1) as long as I've been dabbling with FAL stuff I've never seen a definitive marking that indicated a top cover was IMBEL and I was interested in learning something. And 2) I have a very nice IMBEL build that could use a NOS top cover.
Condition is not a determinator of provenance.
