I've come to the realization that I won't let my kids attend anything but a two year community college in our town.

most my friends that went to college (early 70's) was to play football or to party. The vast majority went there to party only and to not work. I stayed around hometown and got a job at the local mill/woods so I could finance my party time, money to pay rent and buy a hotrod car and a boat. Life was good! One of my friends I mowed lawns with in high school was real smart and went to college to become an accountant. He party partied his whole way thru college and came back home only to get a job at the lawnmowing outfit we worked at in highschool.
