Handguard nut reinforcement

I've got some sets of handguards where the nut is just about cracked off. Is the best way to "fix" or atleast reinforce just some solder? Any specific type?


Any tips or tricks would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

sandblast clean, and solder. #0 tip. I use Harris Silvaloy 40. I also have threaded inserts, as needed.
