My kit arrived today, #123/400. Ordered over the weekend, shipped Tuesday and here now on Friday via UPS ground.
While the handguards show handling wear, the entire Type 3 lower receiver and stock don't show any wear at all. No rub marks under the selector or in the selector detents, like there never was a safety selector installed. The bolt and bolt carrier match (5329) and show no signs of wear or having been fired. Buttstock is pristine. Bayonet and frog appear unused. Dust cover clean but not perfect. Was not expecting ithe kit to be so clean. It's a shame about the barrel being cut because the remaining bore looks perfect.
Since I never win anything I went out and bought a Powerball ticket while my luck is holding.

I was fortunate enough to receive kit #124 today, marking my first venture into the world of FALs.
Mine is a Type III lower receiver. The bolt and bolt carrier are numbered 3764 and do exhibit noticeably more wear than some other examples posted here. Overall, the parts are in excellent condition, and I'm looking forward to completing my first build.

Decided to go ahead purchase a kit also even with the high price .. number 63/400 ...type 3 in excellent condition hardly any marks on anything and basically looks new....to bad they had to be chopped up .
If anyone gets a code and doesn’t want it PM me…

#125 here, kit came in the other day. Much like the other kits, it's very clean, with the most noticeable wear on the bolt and top cover.
Interested to see what DSA will have in store for these kits.

Seems like people are getting different types so hard to say what they are going to offer. Maybe as gunplumber says a “special barrel” that will work with the gas block. Mine is a type 2 some say they got type 3.

About the splined gas plug pin or ”special” barrel. Either way I will have to go with a DSA barrel and receiver, what other choices do I have. As far as the splined gas block pin, my kit does not look like the photo Gunplumber posted.
