There's a substantial puddle of oil under the one with the bent prop. They ought to pull the front end off the one with the torn up tail and staple it to the other one. They could get one decent plane out of the deal that way.

One of my coworkers actually saw it happen. Said the hitter ran into the hittee at full taxi speed. Never slowed down. Our ramp is really busy at night, poor guy was probably distracted by the 757 getting pushed out of his parking spot and obviously never saw the other Caravan waiting to see which taxiway the 75 was going to use. Blammo!

Continental painted some planes in retro schemes….when they merged with united those planes still had the retro paint….eventually when it’s time they will be repainted in standard colors…

The size makes it look slow. The wing camber is such that it cruises with a slight nose up attitude, so climb out looks worse than it is. Fully loaded it takes off around 3/4 million pounds, with engines at max blast making 250000 lbs of thrust. For a -400 anyway which is what the dreamlifters are based on.
