Just because I don't know. Is there a limit to the round count of a Shotgun Magazine? So far mine is the Model 97 slam fire.
Do you mean legally? If so, this would likely be controlled state to state. Many states limit capacity for hunting (ex., 3 or 5 rounds).

If you mean, what’s the highest capacity shotgun magazine available in any shotgun, then sky’s the limit. There are AR based shotguns w/ drum mags that can hold a couple dozen shells I believe. Tom Knapp, Benelli trick shooter had something like a 16 shell extended tube on his Benelli auto loader in order to break a record 16 clay birds, hand thrown by him at one time before any of them hit the ground.

Benelli! Used to shoot competitions and 3G, now too old and too slow. Remmy 1100 worked real good if you replaced certain parts regularly preventing failure. You could buy one for under 200, 20 yrs ago. Graduated to Benelli after getting tired of failures.

I think 25 I'd the about the biggest shotgun capacity I've seen between the saiga-vepr and fostech drum mags to the long keltec ksg.
A full box of shells is a fair amount of weight to hang under your gun.
The mini shells in a mossberg with the opsol adapter lug thingy are a hoot and you get about 8 in the nightstick-shockwave.

What are the certain parts needing replacement? Always liked 1100's. Have an 870 Tactical, but don't use it enough to be real proficient.

A $0.50 o-ring is my guess. There may be something related to shell latch lever dingus, but 1100 are new to me. I don't like them for defense use because of the button on the shell carrier. Makes reloading kinda busy.

Ill add a second thats not on that list. Mossberg 930 SPX. I bought three back when i was doing some three gun. Two got abused and this one stayed NIB. I removed the pic rail and ghost ring sight as well as the raised front sight and added just a bead. Oversized charging handle and safety as well as two and single point sling connections and a laser with touch pad. 7+1 and the 6rd card. It stays out in the shop.

No pictures of my personal ones since I'm moving but-

I was also going to say the High Standard Model 10, although mine is an A model with the integrated flashlight. I think they're neat.

But more important to mention I think, is the Greener Police gun. Because Martini actions are fun and the bloody thing was still in use as late as 2015.

Well I have a benelli nova tactical with ghost rings, +2/3 tube ,20"barrel. Also have-
Old Remy model 10(?) Pump done as a trench clone
Mossy maverick 20" 8 shot
Antique 10ga double street howitzer.

I would like to get my friends benelli m1 super 90 off him,nib never fired... you know, the 1 that can fire all 8 before 1st shell hits the ground.. I do wonder about any parts support issues though.

I am hoping to get a keltec ks7 bullpup pump since it is a bottom feed n eject ,holds 7 and I am a lh shooter.. supposed to be real reliable and could make a good road trip, camp, hd shotgun..

Love my Nova though!

Ps- bought about 60 -100 rds of this royal mg slug that has a hardened steel tip and looks like a bladed blender... have never seen anymore anywhere... would love to test on various things but without a source for more, I will just assume it will live up to its looks and component construction..should make short work of most bullet resistant adversaries..

EINHEITELF, test of those slugs.
Guy tests all kinda of oddball shotgun rounds.

Try A ks7 out if you can before you buy. They are very light and pack a hefty recoil. Very light and compact, basically a single tube ksg. Both are based on the ithica 37 action. You need to pump it with authority or you can risk a short stroke and not put a new shell on the lifter.
