I was bitten by the Lee Enfield bug at one time, but only made it up to three before I decided that on top of all the other crap that I accumulate, I didn't need to start on Lee Enfields. Down to one now.

I had a good deal on a Webley once but passed when I realized it had been modified for 45 ACP.

I’ve always like those old Enfield rifles. Owned several over the years but down to one, a 1904 BSA No 1 Mk I*** that I got from a member on here.

I own a pristine, US PROPERTY marked No4 Mk1, built in Chicopee Mass.....somehow it was never molested; very accurate.

I recently picked up a No 4 Mk 2, "mummy gun", from 1955, recently unwrapped. Really pristine. They are still out there.

1916 Webley -shaved .45ACP , figured that I would be able to pick up a new cylinder from Numrich but they were sold out so I loaded some lite .45 to shoot it with.

Avoid the promag magazines. They tend to shoot rounds out as inopportune times

They can shoot! Regret not trying mine at long range when I still had good eyes. Shot a couple of 200 yard matches with mine and was impressed. Stimpy is the main Enfield shooter, he has won the Riverbend Riflemans weekend match a bunch of times.
