Paco, how durable was the gray paint? Would cleaning fluids or lubricating oil remove it?FN had its own factory grey.
The Belgian Army arsenal (repairs) had tons of unused salt resistant "DUPONT" paint to redo all the WW2 Bailey bridges in Belgium.
By the time the would use the paint, most bridges got replaced by real ones. So, they use that quality paint for the FAL, FN49, MAG, BAR model D, HP's and so one.
The Belgian army gave no f$ck about getting all the parts black or grey. So you see many weapons in bi color. It is hard to do anything wrong on a M1, M2 or M3 FAL ; )

Nagant revolver enters the chat
I have not really watched the market since pre-covid, but 4 or 5 years ago, a Swedish K was about your lowest cost option in the transferrable game. It might be worth a bit of research now if that is the one you really want.Gun porn? I always lusted after a Swedish K, theres just something about it. It'd go along perfectly with my m96!
