I think he stated in another thread that Barnes and Noble has it. I've already got mine and enjoyed both books.

Passed along the first book to my teenage son after I read it. He loved it. I’m reading the sequel on Kindle now.

Awesome! I wrote it with the intent that my kids could read it. Thus, no sex, no F-bombs, just lots of fun violence and adventure. I just figure why make something crude when I don't have too?

Besides, my pastor wanted to read it and I didn't need a sermon about me one Sunday morning.

Sorry for the delay. Shame on me. StickP is correct, you can get copies off Barnes and Noble and some other sites. Just google 'West of Prehistoric'.. I think Ebay has some used copies floating around out there.

Still waiting on the audio book to come out. I didn't get a choice for who'd narrate, the publisher basically picked out the guy, sent me the audio sample, and said "This is the guy doing you're book."

I'm hoping to have it in print by the end of the year. Part of that depends on the publisher and how fast they get it to print... the rest depends on me finishing the danged thing. (I was able to write a couple thousand words today while my daughter napped. Woop!)

Geez... Update time.

First Book - West of Prehistoric - I'm pushing for a graphic novel. It's a long shot, but it'd be badass.

Second Book - Enter Prehistoric - Getting the audio treatment now, should be out around Feb.

Third Book - Taming Prehistoric - I REALLY wanted to finish this by the end of the year. But due to my job, that's not going to be possible. Still, I'm beating that keyboard like it owes me money and advancing towards the finish line. Looking at hitting print around March.

Fourth Book - Yet Unnamed - Got a very basic outline and a ton of ideas. I don't think this series will end at four books, that was the original plan, but the world I've created has grown massive and there's a lot of playing to do in my sandbox. Goal - End of 2022.

Unrelated Book - I need to expand my resume, and I've got a list of ideas to think on. As usual, it will be toxic masculine sort of stuff. Because that's the only stuff I'm ever going to write about. Probably gonna go with my WWII, Pacific Island, Marines vs Japs vs Sea Monsters, concept... because it sounds awesome and I have an entire plot outlined already. Goal - End of 2022.


So, how's it going as this whole... writing hobby-thingy?

Pretty good. I'm going to talk to a CPA soon about starting a business. Because I'm selling a lot more books than I thought I would, making a lot more money than expected, and taxation is theft.

I actually finished the third book a couple weeks ago. Then I let it 'simmer' while I took a breather and began working on my WWII Sea Monster book.

Now I'm giving it a final 'one over' before submitting to the publisher this weekend. I expect it will be in print by early April. That's one of the perks of working with an Indie press, I don't have to wait a year to a year and a half for my book to fit into the big publisher's print schedule.

And continuing my frivolous tradition of putting art in the books, here's this awesomeness from Lorin Michki of Drawn Fire Art.

Audible book for Book Two just dropped.

It's stupid expensive, so I recommend using Audible Unlimited. Much cheaper at $15/month. And you can get a free 30 day trial to listen to the books then cancel. (Play the game, don't let the game play you.)

New book covers! I'm really excited about that. Especially the Griswold & Gunnison revolvers. (I've wanted one ever since I watched Hell on Wheels) Not sure what the third book cover looks like just yet, but it's gonna continue this awesome theme.

Book Three - Titled 'Taming Prehistoric'. Actually, I just signed the contract today on it. Now it goes to the editors, then back to me for changes, then to the format guru's, then back to me to approve, then it goes to print. I expect 2-3 months depending on how backlogged the editor/format people are. So April/May?

Book Four - Book Three had the best ending I've ever written. And I was so excited that after I finished it, I kept going and knocked out about 5,000 words into book four. So, it has begun.

WWII Pacific Island Marines Sea Monster Book(not the actual title) - This is just a stand alone book idea I've been putting off for a couple years. But the plot has been written and I've begun to flesh it out some.

Random update.

Walmart is selling Book III 'Taming Prehistoric' on their website. Not sure what that's all about. I hear it's some sort of weird Amazon/Walmart book exchange or some such craziness.

In other news, West of Prehistoric just passed 200 reviews on Amazon at 4.6/5 stars. Actually, all THREE books have a 4.6/5 stars review. Not sure how that works out, other than my lovers and haters are consistent.
