Saw this one on GB and noticed the SN# was a bit different than some others I’ve seen.

Can’t seem to find any info on the ol’ web,and wanted to check with the United Fal Knowledge Bank here and see if light could be shed on matters.

I had 2 thumbhole L1A1’s made by century years ago. Both ran flawlessly, one had a CA serial number prefix (Caspian) but it didn’t look like the one in your pic. Sadly I don’t have a picture. The other was a NC prefix (North Country machine & tool) if I ever ran into a deal for another with either of those prefix’s I would buy, but like I said the serial number on that one is different. Maybe Caspian just switched the design

- right receiver (right lower receiver- right- Century Arms Inc/St Albans, VT/R1A1 Sporter 308 Cal/Made in USA serial number)

NC001413 through NC003597

- left receiver (nothing)
- right receiver (right lower receiver- right- Century Arms Inc/Georgia, VT/R1A1 Sporter 308 Cal/Made in USA serial number)
