My shootin' buddy just passed away from complications from a car wreck and I have to handle moving all his guns to new homes. I've gone through a bunch so far and picked out the ones I wanted to buy. The rest gotta go. One of the ones I kept was a Belgian 8 gauge. This thing is massive. Some serious iron for sure. And, it comes with about a couple hundred shell hulls, too.

Sorry about your friend. Every time you touch off a round you'll have a reminder of your friend.

My friend Roger likes the big stuff. He like to say "I like the stuff where you don't have to check the chamber to see if it went off".

Gray colored Remington brand paper shells. He bought them new somewhere years ago.
So sorry for your loss. As far as the shells go, many, many years ago a late friend and, his late father now too, had a collection of the big sticks like that. Some of them were even fancy engraved. Eight gauge black powder seemed to be one of his favorites that he would drag out for pheasant hunting. He just got a big kick out of everyone ooohing and, aaahing when he pulled out this big old piece of pipe with fancy engraving. Big cloud of smoke and, more of a “whoo-am!” sort of a bang. 😎
Anyway, see if you can find some brass hulls, you’ll shoot those forever.

Among the other shootin' irons I bought were a Springfield trapdoor carbine (a real one, not a cut down), Spencer carbine in 56-50, Winchester .401 Self Loader, Winchester 1892 in 25-20 ca. 1925 and some other cool stuff.
Will you be sharing pics of those fine firearms too?

Yeah, I would imagine if you had to buy 8 gauge shot shells, they would not be cheap. But, he was an avid reloader and had a bunch of hulls (around 300 pcs) and more that are loaded that will last me my whole life. Does anyone want to buy any 8 gauge shot shell hulls..................................haha.
