Argentine 1911's?

Talk to me about these. My Argy Hi Power needs a friend. Then of course, I'll have to get an Argy FAL to go with them.

Where can I get some information? Does any store have them for sale, or is it up to looking in the classifieds sections?

Anything special about these, or are they just an exact copy?

The Argentine 1927 Systema is an exact 1911 A1 clone built by FMAP on machinery delivered by Colt.

The most recent imports were pretty used up. Little finish, exterior pitting and who knows how shot-out.

The imports from about four years ago were sweet. Some were blued, many were reparked. They had all matching numbers, even the magazine. They were about $290 back then. They probably go for $400+ now.

They are definitely good quality guns.

Here's a couple of mine. I had them refinished, one just park and one parked them moly w/new sights. Definitely decent enough guns for the price. I bought these from Lipsey's a year or two ago. As you can see, the left was just parked and the right was as received. I need to snap a pic of the right gun now. It's a completely different gun now.
