Unfortunately commuting his sentence means the conviction stands. Ultimately that means he's still a felon in the eyes of the law, but he just won't have to serve time.....

Whatever the President does (pardon, commute, etc.) only applies too federal level. However I think if he remains convicted double jeopardy comes into play.

Also to note a commutation does not affect the status of a defendant's underlying criminal conviction. I also heard 52 senate members gave the ok for Stones communtation

So Stone but was a victim of all those voters who stayed home in Nov '18 and did not come out to vote for a Republican Congress person...........laziness the same thing that happened in Virginia with Northam......lazy gun owners voters who did not care enough to vote, committed suicide in Virginia............ and I am glad it hurts them.

Congress was controlled by Schiff, and he got a quick conviction for Stone, on essentially "fluff".

I blame all those who did not vote for Stones predicament.
