CTD charges what the market will bare. Scary thing is they are probably selling it. Every local sporting goods store Cabellas, Scheels, and Bass Pro are all sold out of 9mm here in Omaha.
Not just CTD. Went to a gun show yesterday with a friend who intended on buying a case of 5.56. Asking price was $750 per! Needless to say he didn't leave with a case. But I did see several walking out with a case under their arm.
Yep, I stocked up on 5.56 2 months ago. SG had LC 62 grain for $0.45 delivered. Man that was a bargain compared to now. I don't think I've shot 1K of 5.56 over the past 6 years.

223/556 is about 64 cents per round for brass case IF you can find it. Steel case for 50 cents if it can even be found. Holy shit!!!
I've got all the ball ammo I need. I bought 7.62, 5.56, 45 and 9 when it was reasonable. Lately I've bought specialty ammo like 45 +P, and 9 +P and +P+. I found a place that makes it and sells it for just a little more than current ball ammo prices.
I do. Got 4000 Hornady pills and some others with the fixins. I'm good. If it get's bad I even have enough stuff laying around for 5.56 if I can find where I put the pills.
