Hey everyone,
Currently working on converting my ban era sporter back into a form that better resembles what it should have been originally. I am looking to install an old UK 5 slot flash hider. I have the flash hider, key and pin, but want the community's input on what I should have to expect in terms of the positioning washer.
I know I could always buy the thickest variant and sand it down, but does anyone have a better guess? Would it be better to just machine the part as $10 plus shipping for a washer is crazy?
Thanks and I apologize if I am overthinking this all,
Joe

Re: L1A1 Flash Hider Help
Joe, you're not going to like this answer, but my solution is to keep a nearly full set of washers on hand. So far I've not needed one that was already previously used. If I do, at least I have something close to start sanding down.
