Haven't released the Kracken yet. How does it compare taste wise to Sailor Jerry, Capn' Morgan etc.?

I didn't care for Sailor Jerry's much. It tastes more like a whiskey than a rum to me. Kraken has a very unique taste. The blend of spices are on point and is a tad more sweet than you might like at first, but you end up loving it after a few sips.

The Plantation rum I posted is also quite good.

I found Sailor Jerry disappointing and think of the Captain as one step up from the well brands.
Kraken is unusual for me as I shy away from flavoured anything in the adult beverage world but I tried it at a tasting & its been in the cabinet ever since. Not an every day thing but my wife & I both like it. Truthfully my favourite rum (in the affordable $$ range) is Mount Gay Eclipse (an Amber) but there's a lot of great ones out there. Pusser is also a fav here, with me anyway.
If I don't enjoy it neat or w/ a wee splash of water, it usually doesn't make the cut w/ me.

Got Kraken for this weekend.

Temporarily on the wagon per Dr's. orders, post surgery. Says it interferes with or maybe aides the functions of Warfarin too much. I ended up with a frickin' recalled hip joint, just like a Hyundai car. Had to break my hip and femur to get the dang things out of there, they just couldn't find a hammer and chisel big enough I guess. I wouldn't even wish this on my worst enemy, ain't no fun at all. But I intend to do some catchin' up when things get better.
