2021 Bronco
2021 Bronco
Anyone get their pre-order/reservation in on one of these?
Re: 2021 Bronco
Hasn't Ford been building/selling these in south America for a couple of decades?

It's a Ford so no!
Re: 2021 Bronco
I own two older ones. A 1970 halfcab I’m restoring and a 1977(final year 1st gen) that I cruise and wheel a bit. I jumped on with my $100 refundable reservation for the 2021 last night. It must have been busy since it clogged their site up pretty bad. Let’s see how it unfolds over the next few months. Won’t even see it until spring next year.

We are thinking about getting one, didnt pre-order but our sales guy called and said he could make it happen if we wanted one.
We will see what happens but they look fun. I think it would be great to cruise around the Black Hills.

For the most part I like the way they look. But you are a fool if you buy first year of a new or big revamp design. I've seen relatives and friends deal with the issues of first or even second year new models so I never buy them. Its only available with Ecoboost engines so no way in hell. Ford has/had naturally aspirated V6s that make 300hp+ and good torque and all they want to put in are the goddamn Ecoboost motors. No friggen thank you.
Re: 2021 Bronco
Sticker ranges from 30 for the base to mid 50s for the top of the line base. There is a limited edition first year model with only 3500 slotted to be built @ 65k or so.
Re: 2021 Bronco
Start at a hair under $30k. But they have a whole bunch of optioned models as well as a first edition (limited production) and 4 doors. So some of them are probably going to get to or over the $60k mark. Especially if the dealers mark them up. All the prices are crazy these days.
Re: 2021 Bronco
Only thing that I’m worried about really is the possibility of them adding a V8 coyote next year or so. I would be pissed. I’m not super worried about the first year thing since a lot of the running gear is related to the Ranger. We’ll see. Like I said...I’m $100 in on a wait and see
Re: 2021 Bronco
I'd put money on it never getting a V8 from Ford, ever.
Re: 2021 Bronco
Let’s see this battle start possibly. Rumor has it the Jeep May be getting a 6.4. If so, the Bronco definitely gets the coyote

Guess you missed the memo.Fastwest wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 1:15 amOnly thing that I’m worried about really is the possibility of them adding a V8 coyote next year or so. I would be pissed. Ford is gonna make "Bronco" a brand.
So in the future, we'll have "Bronco" station wagons, "Bronco" sedans, "Bronco" motorcycles . .
They've already started doing this with the Mustang, perhaps you've seen that electric bubblecar with the "Mustang" badge on it?
"Bronco" to become a brand
Re: 2021 Bronco
Yes nails, that’s horrific! Like the blazer that basically a car lol

Get woke?
Go broke!
Life long ford owner. Aftter hating my newest (escape) and being laughed at by ford when I discovered that the front brakes are different left to right sides I am pretty sure I will look for greener pastures on my next vehicle.

Re: 2021 Bronco
You guys sure aren't inspiring confidence in the F150 I was thinking of upgrading to from my GM midsize

I’d rather push a Ford than drive a Chevy. My 97 F-250 diesel is still going strong after 350,000 miles

Re: 2021 Bronco
I honestly couldn’t care less about the brand. I worked for Chevy for about 10 years as a transmission tech in the early 2000s, daily drive to work a Chevy Monte Carlo, sometimes I work out my 24valve Cummins 3500 4x4, got the Broncos, and wife drives a Honda but wants a Mustang after driving a rental. No brand loyalty here...I buy what I like. Kicker is I haven’t had a car payment in nearly 10 years....gonna hurt

Re: 2021 Bronco
My GF is stoked on them. Told her to wait for the 2022 and let them fix whatever is broken on the 2021s. They look pretty cool.
Re: 2021 Bronco
They should sell a replica of teh OJ Bronco.
Re: 2021 Bronco
Got that right. Turn on a dime and give a nickel in change.
I’m looking hard at the new Gladiators, it’d be my first modern Jeep, but I just can’t bring myself to get excited about Chrysler mechanicals and electrical.
That TIPM is the stupidest idea since the all aluminum Vega engine.
