Pioneer Arms Question.....

Post by Christopher67 »

I have one available locally for $999, I have zero experience with Pioneer Arms what say you? :?:

This is what it looks like, it has a Radom Poland logo on the rear sight block.

Never owned one, but they are reportedly poor quality made with some cheaply cast part parts. Pioneer is in the city of Radom, Poland and capitalizing on that name. A completely different company than FB Radom/Fabryka Broni, who produces military arms.

A cheap copy of a AK . inferior parts and assembly .

Pass not remotely worth $1000

Bought one of those on a whim back in March. Was $650 NIB out the door.

A complete & utter turd. Practically every part was junk. Twisted receiver, crooked sights, cast everything. Carrier started deforming just from hand cycling. Wouldn't shoot minute of barn.

My own fault for impulsively buying without researching or fine checking the rifle.

I'd steer clear. Unless you're needing a convenient turn in gun for the future. Otherwise it's a paperweight.

Better than to even look at one of those turds.
Sometimes i need to remind myself that not everyone has the same memory retention that i do.

These have been talked about a bunch and many threads made on The Files.

Those make nice "wall hanger" AKMs, but not $999 nice, more like $99 though.

That coach gun is really good looking.

How can a company that builds such a turd of an AK turn out a great looking scatter gun??
