Sick of Gone Broker Ads in My Inbox

Post by meltblown »

Shit they are worse than the NRA. Took years to clear the NRA. When I hit unsubscribe I just go to a page that has the GB banner but nothing else. I'm in private viewing. Any ideas?

Clear all Gunbroker cookies.

Reboot your computer.

Log onto Gunbroker, and re-set your notification preferences.

Copy. Thanks guys. They ones that irritate the hell out of me is from the outfit to register to win the gun of the week. I'll buy a damn gun if I want it. I think I've bought 1 gun and 2 mags on GB in the past 10 years. I get outbid on all the other stuff like HPs. To me the FF MP is the best. Probably 300+ txns. So much repeat business back and forth with some that we don't leave feedback.

Could be worse . .

GunsAmerica constantly spams me with "Your order is on its way - order XYZ123" bullshit.

Create a new email folder and create an email "rule".

For example, I've bought bulk ammo from most all the major websites and was getting bombarded with multiple "weekly specials" from several every day. I created a folder named AMMO and created a rule for each of those senders to be redirected to my AMMO folder rather than my inbox. Not blocked or unsubscribed, just re-directed.

If I am wanting some ammo, I can look at that folder and see what recent specials are out there, but the crap does not clutter my regular inbox daily.

I haven't blocked CTD. I get curious as to how much they're marking stuff up. I think they're next.

I have GMail and anything in the Trash folder gets tossed when it's been in there 30 days.

Less BS I have to deal with, and if I have an interest in something, the trash is searchable.
