Also contacting the POTUS might be useful so there is no dilution of the message

banning bump stocks made "the message" very clear.

https://www.ammoland.com/2020/02/un-...atf-form-4473/

Argument for tying up the U.N. Arms Trade Treaty to the ATF (revising) Form 4473. There is a PDF of the new form (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gCQ...dRdk9SHhY/view) which looks way messier than the old one just for the sake to have the firearm list at the top of the document.

Nailed it. The POTUS isn't a friend of the Second Amendment; he's a friend of "getting elected". If he sensed that there were more votes in turning against us, he would do it in a New York minute. Don't fool yourself for that fool.

You will have to fill out a 4473 for every firearm you own every year....like filing your income tax.

Will we all be allowed to withhold our tax statements?

I fear we may find out just how gun friendly he is during his second term.

We'll see. With no need for re-election, who knows how he will act.

we know

--does not like silencers

--does not like bump stocks, because "devices/contrivances"

--likes red flag no due process ex parte illegal confiscation warrants, "i like getting the guns now, then due process later"

--likes real ID requirement for BG check on firearms/mags/ammo in common use

any bets on also liking federal ban on semi autos/std cap magazines in common use?

I wouldn't bet against that.

The ATF has been copying dealer bound books for many years, now. 6 years or so ago, I watched an ATF agent spend two days typing in every entry from one of the locals dealer's bound book(s). When I asked the gunstore owner about it he said they do it every couple of years. The other two dealers in town have electronic systems so it's much easier for the ATF to have all the information.
