Cross-Posting without disclosure

This seems to be happening around here more-and-more.

Here's the deal:

• If you cross post your ads on the internet, and
• one of the places you do it is here, and
• you sell elsewhere, and
• you don't shut down your ad here here before somebody here says "I'll take it, and
• I find out about it...

... I'm hitting that "infraction" button on you.

Really getting tired of hearing these stories.
Nobody wants to read your ads for stuff you don't have for sale anymore.

Don't waste people's time.
Its just common courtesy.

Rack up the infractions here, and you're gonna be gone.

If you do, you need to CLEARLY STATE that you have done so.

If I find cross-posted ads without disclosure, I'm just going to close them and make you do it over.

I can't believe what just happened and I am a big boy . Rules are rules. We have them to keep a sense of order.

Are FF members such prima donnas that they think only they can buy something? Anything I sell is available to whoever contacts me first from any source, by any means. I typically offer it first on FF as a courtesy, but it seems there are some spoiled children hereabouts.

Are you telling me if you had something for sale here and your brother said - here's cash . . . you'd tell him "no, I can't sell it to you because I didn't list on my FF ad that is subject to prior sale elsewhere?"

I guess I'll have to remember to add a disclaimer to appease the whiners.

That was answered by another moderator (tac-40) who stated NO board rules were broken.

Just find another kit and don't let this cause you any sleepless nights.
