For the first time in 25 years.......

I didn’t vote....there was no point. We are surrounded by communists.

So.......Houston is officially the third largest communist strong hold..
There were approximately 3 republicans on the ballot today for anything.
One was running for mayor finished a distant 3rd place. A plaintiffs lawyer
and no official political affiliation got half as many votes as the gay incumbent black mayor. There are 2 republicans in elected positions in all of Harris County
the third most populated region in the country.

I give up....it’s all but over.

We got to vote for the soil conservation board chairman.

State rep and senator both ran unopposed.

Glad I did not move to Harris County. Or Texas.

Come to Georgia and help reinforce our position here.

Every tax levy in the county was passed, many seats ran unopposed going to the Democrats, only one township voted in some Republicans. Time to move I guess. Been here my whole life just about but it's becoming a liberal shithole.

But, won't it have the NY issue, i.e. Albany and NYC deciding the politics and keeping all the taxdollars?

more difficult in larger States where the rural counties far out number the urban ones
in MN it boils mostly down to two Counties right now

I saw in Minn in the last election it was very close. I think Zeducation on you tube had a short discussion on this after the Trump rallye. Most states are in that position with one or two urban areas pushing the collectivism culture vs the rest of the state pushing an individualism type culture.

I voted Democrat for the first time in years; Neither our County Executive or Mayor who are republicans would meet with Trump on his two visits in 2016.................BECAUSE CUOMNO THREATENED THEM.

SOB!!

Needless to say, I voted for the Democrats running against them.

I don’t buy into the illusion that there is any long term difference between the democratic and republican party. For those who feel the rep party will come to the rescue... if nothing else demographics has put you on the losing side. I believe seismic unpleasantness is in our future.

Yeah,

Even in Nebraska its quickly become urban lunacy vs rural conservatism. Douglas county makes up about 30% of Nebraska and is slowly turning blue which is nuts.

In my little burg folks vote for the people that they know will do the job. Political party affiliation don’t count for much. Most this year ran unopposed.
In the town where I work, the three person Board of Selectmen is now all women, all new. At least the former second selectman, an empty talking head had his ass handed to him.

the wahmens also "vote for the people that they know will do the job" -- the job of socializing,

hence why you are stuck with an all wahmen board now,
because pink pussy hats.

identity politics is just a head count. there are slightly more wahmen than dudes, so the wahmen "win" the head count every time--notably while not being subject to the draft as are the dudes.

conclusion1: universal suffrage was and is a mistake, incompatible with representative republic self government by for and of the people who-hold-these-truths-to-be-self-evident.

If Texas goes Socialist Democrat there will be civil disobedience times ten,,, don't piss in the wind or pull on Superman's cape when he's taking a crap, which is what a Socialist win would amount to.

Martin make no mistake....never underestimate your enemies resolve. These cocksuckers want your guns and they will legislate their agenda into action here as soon as they get the leadership in the next election. Remember how nice the
Rs are in the House and Senate....we share leadership with them....do you think for second a Democrat would place a Republican in charge of a say the Homeland Security Committee?

We live in Texas and and as Texans we know a hurricane when we see one....get ready....

No. They want you dead and gone. This whole take your guns away thing isn't the end game, it's only the beginning. Even now y'all don't seem to understand the fight you're in, and that is the depressing part.

Hoping this is the case, but there are a lot of folks around who don't get this.

They're gonna outlaw the guns, just a question of when. It's time to be thinking about what comes after, but you probably know this.

way past time.

there is no voting a way out of what is already here, now.

I have run out of fjuks to give about a lot of folks around who don't get this, seeing how those same folks were in fact instrumental in creating the mess.

ok, but clearly they are not listening.

maybe after enough painful consequences are inflicted, then they will listen?

testing that is going to be rather costly.

Texas is all but lost. All the cities are now solidly full bore liberal and they’re streaming into the suburbs like a 40 Oz hangover round of the shits. Californians and New Yorkers for the most part. These are the supposedly conservative Calis, or at least that’s what they say. But they flipped Collin County in 2018.

The Governor is battening down the hatches and passing laws that make it almost impossible to pass liberal laws. He just got an anti State Income Tax passed, and it might be one of his last acts.
Texas is gone. They just haven’t realized it yet.

I have been running away from socialism since I was 14 yo.

Left Canada for the deep South and it was wonderful until the . . .

And then that part of the deep South became overpopulated with . . .

And then the cities in that state outvoted the rural areas in favor of socialism and increased the taxes to support the cites . . .

Then I moved to a deeper Southern, less populated State and have done OK but the local population dwell in trailers and are Ferrel animals living on WIC/.Gov subsistence and think they are important while paying no taxes, throw trash from their car windows, and break the windows out of their rental properties and hold domestic screaming matches in their yards for God and everyone to endure while posting signs saying to keep-out and No Trespassing upon a yard filled with trash and junk while being belligerent to all attempts to ask them to behave more civilly - to no avail.

Not a black person in sight.

And some here with their superior intellect think we are going to right this thing with either voting or shooting.

We are dealing with evolution and not of our choosing but we have collectively allowed it to happen while we were working and supporting ourselves and families.

There is no debate/reconciliation here in our current reality.

Every man for himself?

Nope, like minded in close proximity against the opposing like minded . . .

Biblical.

I'm tired of hearing how I have somehow been a part of creating this problem.

This is just the have's against the have not's as usual.

This problem can be solved for each of us individually if we will just give everything we have acquired to those who don't have it and then commit suicide.

This problem can be solved for each of us individually if we will just give everything we have acquired to those who don't have it and then commit suicide.

see the video above regarding biblical style family getting their visit from the angelo de la muerte by way of the local "like minded in close proximity" sicarios, gunned down and torched.

shooting certainly solved it, now didn't it?

dont worry, there is more coming where that came from, and in plenty to go around for everybody,
so keep blaming others who see and speak the truth, that has worked out great so far, so why bother changing now?

I didn't blame anyone.

You missed the boat.

What is the solution in your mind?

What is the solution in your mind?
again you are stuck on your "solution" nonsense
I have explained to you why a viable answer may be doable, however your imaginary solutions do not exist, and never will.

your answer that you posted regarding
This is just the have's against the have not's
is not consistent with the available evidence,
your assumptions are not valid.

so go back and try again this time without your "solution" nonsense.

Every generation that has ever lived could say stupid shit like this. The reality is you ain't that special and this is not some sort of unique situation. The constant bloviating about this only reveals just how dense and unable to learn you are.

Future generations? You think future generations are gonna somehow be 'smarter' than your generation? As if being 'smart' or 'stupid' had anything to do with the way things are today? For someone who claims to not watch TV you sure seemed to have picked up the message. News flash: Folks left to their own devices ain't 'innocent', and 'innocent' or 'benign' ain't the natural way of people. As we speak the next generations are dicking up their lives at a speed to make a boomer's head spin.

Ours had no say in the matter either. Neither did our parents, grandparents, etc etc. The hard truth is very few ever have any real say at all. You need to get over it. Ya gotta play the hand you have, as well as you can. That's the deal and you don't get another one. Most learn this early on but it does seem there are some who never catch on.

Wanna talk 'empire'? The great white fleet wasn't built in the 1980s you idiot. 'Empire' was forced onto the southern states in 1864. And as I recall it was your hero Tom J who first brought 'empire' to montana. The Cherokee brought their version of 'empire' to Oklahoma while Andy Jackson was bringing his to their ancestral homes, and of course the Apache were bringing 'empire' to just about everything else at the time. Meanwhile the mexicans were trying to bring 'empire' of their own onto the continent but as usual they screwed it up so badly that they could not even conquer mexico, something a few marines had managed quite easily a few years earlier. They even got themselves an emperor, but as they were unable to achieve that on their own they had to go to Europe to find one willing to take the job.

And you should know this, as a self-styled acolyte of the 'founders'. Ben Franklin's famous comment '... a republic, if you can keep it' succinctly illustrates how he knew human behavior all too well. And even while the ink was drying on the constitution events in western pennsylvania illustrated how correct he was.

The reality is all generations are flush with assholes and outside of shooting 'em all, you can't fix that. But of course that doesn't fit the narrative does it? Nope, much more satisfying to just throw some shit on the walls and call it a day.

I thought it was just me. Never though I'd see the day.

Yep....the same thing the left always wants. Control. Personal weapons are just the keystone in their plans. Look at their wishlist on "climate change", the use of cash for financial transactions, and everything else. You and your family WILL conform, or you will be faced with two very simple alternatives....

Nawww, just reflecting on how much better it all might have turned out had Maximilian not been such an idiot. Didn't seem that way at the time, 'course it's all who you're standing next to I suppose .

A lot of "Katrina Refugees" moved into Houston and never left. I went to Houston about 3 years ago for a client and was set up in a hotel. One night I thought about going to the pub next door (Wolfies) and as I was about to go out the night clerk said I would be safer if I didn't go out and I should order something to be delivered. I pretty much decided Houston wasn't someplace to go unless absolutely necessary.
