Browning Over Under 12 ID needed PLEASE!

I recently took in a shotgun on consignment, but I have not yet been able to identify it. I don't know anything about these guns, and the website isn't helping me any. The owner said it is a custom shop gun. It is engraved with gold inlay, done by C. Perfido (Claudia), and the serial number is 8J3PT07204.

Does anyone know what this is based on this information? Can you send me where to learn more?

If its in regular browning speak, PT would be 1986.
Otherwise Ive no idea,,,usually the first 3 before the year is the model number, but usually is numbers only.

On second thought,,,maybe try googling and emailing the browning international custom shop.
They should be able to tell you exactly what youve got..

I plan on calling the custom shop tomorrow to see if they can help. The serial number doesn't match any of the formats that I have seen.

Owner said he paid a small fortune when he bought it in England.

Well, the SN in the one in that link is 8J4PY00270, so it is the same format. Just might be a different year, special run. Good luck.

Does the stamping marks imply Belgian made or Japanese made?
