Arrow New Steel Mags on KeepShooting.com

I ordered a huge batch of these years ago when they were available. Think I got 30 of them or so.

Every single one from that batch has ran flawlessly from the first round.

I can't speak to this current batch but based on previous experience and the fact that I've run their mags exclusively for about a decade without issue makes them GTG to me.

Their ad says that it's "based on the widely proven Metric FAL pattern mag".

I wonder who made them because it sounds like they're new made and not surplus. If it's the Korean mag, they're junk in my mileage.

Doesn’t “KS” just stand for “Keep Shooting”, the name of the company?

A couple of months ago their Grease Gun mags were back in stock...not for long. These mags are made for KS and they work well that's why they sold out rather quickly. I'm sure their FAL mags will work well too.

Did what you actually receive have a ground or stamped rear lug? If you have different receivers/rifles, how was the fit in each of them?

The KS Remington 597 mags are known to be better than factory, including the fact one can beat up the factory mag and steal its lunch money

Only have one FAL: DSA SA58CP18.

Can't upload attachments here so here's an album of pics of the rear lug: https://photos.app.goo.gl/UbVh1DH4Xgrcqw728

Not quite sure how to answer your question as the lug itself is stamped/folded but recess underneath is ground.

keepshooting mags

I bought 5 of the Keepshooting FAL mags a number of years ago.

Some speculated Wayne machine inc. of Taiwan is the supplier of FAL mags
for Keepshooting.

The 5 mags I have work great in my L1A1, but had problems in an Imbel kit Imbel receiver I assembled. That was my first build so maybe my inexperience
was the defect?

I would buy them again, but I have enough mags.

After reading over this thread I went ahead and placed an order for 3x mags over the weekend. They haven't shipped yet. Looking forward to receiving them soon. Hopefully they are good quality and will work flawlessly with my DSA SA58 FAL.

Fedex delivered them today. Tested them out and they fit my DSA SA58 perfectly. They hold the bolt open too.
