Some interesting stats, there.

75% dead in 2 months if grid down...hmmm.

Produced by someone wanting people/you to buy gold and silver.

I like the,,,more kids today in poverty than in 1975.

Well,,,oh hell yes,,,of course the population of the country is about double ???? 1975,,, and the poverty rate threshold has been lowered to gather more people into leftist/socialist, progressive camp,,,you must have MORE government to save you.

Ya want to know how the country is doing,,,,,jobless rate,,,and number of people on food stamps.

Jobs going begging for workers.

It is odd, so very few ever mention US population growth though the decades when citing statistics, as if we've always been static... [/shrug]

There are lies,,,, and then there are statistics.

Every stats class I ever took in school,,,was how to spot lies in stats.

Ya want a good one,,,,,,,,89% of the people support back ground checks on firearms purchases...

Which is most likely true.

Of course,,the dimwits then add in their background checks for private sales and registry for all purchases and transfers,,,,,without saying,,,,the 89% figure was ONLY for the background checks as used today,,,,not their crazy shit.

Cite one stat,,,then mention your plans / goals,,and let people link the two together,,where no linkage was ever intended by the people who gathered the original data.

Please let it start in July not January. Then again, January would be a very fast depletion up north.

Radio station manager of WTIX in the Noo'Awlins area, Bob Namer used to say "Figures lie because liars figure". I don't know if that is an original from him but I use it all the time.

My wife throws away 30 days worth of food every 60 days. I wish she would quit buying grains and crap and stick with a month's supply of those Sweet Sue Chicken and Dumplings, Hormel Chili, and a shit load of saltine crackers and a case of hot sauce. I could survive. Maybe need to stock up on some spirits to keep me sane since beer is never good hot.

There are so many overweight people with so many health problems, life will actually improve for many people

They'll lose 50 to 150lbs, diabetes and many other heath problems will disappear.

After about 6 months, the death rate will increase dramatically

Having taught biostatistics for decades, the original saying was, "figures don't lie, but liars sure can figure..."

I watched the video. Really nothing new, just a lot of the percentages and so forth in one place that I have seen separately in articles in other places. I didn't take it like he was selling PMs. PMs are just another spoke on the wheel of preparedness same as storable food and the other supplies talked about ad nauseam.

I see "Now Hiring" signs daily when I go out. I just returned from a week on the coast and I believe every store and restaurant there had those signs posted in a window. The local grocery store where I shop holds employment interviews several hours each Saturday. Problem, though, is that these are entry level positions that simply do not pay a living wage. If you consider the expenses in running a household it would take several paychecks from jobs such as these each week just to scrap by. Sure... if you want to work there are jobs out there to be had, but they alone don't pay the bills.

While statistics truly can be manipulated to advance a particular agenda according how a question is asked, and they are, cold hard facts are more difficult to corrupt. Such is the report from the US Labor Dept. that 49% of American workers are earning less than $30K annually. I think that is pretty sobering. Coupled with the tsunami of both public and private mounting debt, no one should feel too comfortable right now.

I would agree with some of it.
Fact is people are not keeping an eye out for whats coming as they are too busy in social media tangents.
The reality is what comes up, goes down and if you aren't preparing then you are basically the walking dead.

Most of them are financially wiped out now, much less during any future economic slowdown. And until the evictions and repo's start, if they do, it will all be too abstract for most modern clueless Mericans. As long as the credit and EBT cards keep working....government food handouts, etc..
It isn't really those at the bottom that have much to lose, rather those who see the value of their savings and investments diminish in value due to inflation and weakening of the dollar, that will suffer a financial loss. Until things reset themselves anyway.
Considering the USD/U.S. economy is still the most trusted safe harbor for international wealth and investment, Fedgov's ability to keep on borrowing is seemingly unlimited.
