Quit with the silly Swedes vs. Norwegian stuff. I have it from a very reliable source (my Danish brother in law) that all the Swedes can be found passed out drunk in the Copenhagen city parks.

If they're all drunk in Copenhagen, they obviously can't be running through the weeds in Norway.

Carry on...

In the South from La. to Florida via our swamps we have a skunk Ape, it is like a Bigfoot but smaller. i Thank it is a baboon or a chimp or some kind as we have had many movies made with ape's and some have got away. and the swamp has dry parts that are great habitat for a primate. i want to believe but i was raised in the wood's, and the only thing i am scared of is snakes~R

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/news...Mystery-hairs-'may-have-come-from-a-Yeti'.html

The hunt for the elusive creature - said to be 10ft tall, part man, part ape and otherwise known as the Abominable Snowman - has frustrated scientists for decades.

Now tests at Oxford Brookes University on hairs said to be from a Yeti in India have failed to link the strands with any known species.

Ape expert Ian Redmond, who is leading the research, said: "The hairs are the most positive evidence yet that a Yeti might possibly exist.

US hunters claim to have found Bigfoot

Two American hunters say they have a bit of a surprise in their freezer: a Bigfoot, or Sasquatch.

The pair, Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer, say that they discovered the body of the mythical apeman in a remote forest in northern Georgia - USA not Eastern Europe - about two weeks ago.

They plan to present "DNA evidence and photo evidence of the creature" at a press conference in Palo Alto, California, tomorrow and an associate said that the body would be on show as well.

Mr Whitton is a Georgia police officer currently on leave after being shot in the line of duty while Mr Dyer is a former prison warden. The two men also run a Bigfoot tracking business.

The search for Bigfoot may finally be over. A couple in Kentucky has captured footage of the mythical beast using a hidden camera they originally set up with the intention of capturing a garden thief.

The video footage shows a large black figure in the bushes close to the home of Kenny and Margaret Mahoney.

Just in time for Halloween!

The team of four British explorers and their Indonesian guide tracked through dense and treacherous jungle in the Kerinci National Park of Sumatra where two of them caught a glimpse of the Orang Pendek - or short man.

The team have brought back hair samples and a piece of palm they hope will provide DNA evidence of the Orang Pendek - a creature sighted in the area since colonial times and reputed to be immensely powerful.

Search on for missing Ore. Christmas tree cutters in Bigfoot country

MEDFORD, Ore. – Searchers combed icy roads near the crest of the Cascade Range early Thursday, looking for a missing couple who told their children they were seeking a Christmas tree high in the southern Oregon mountains.

Jackson County Sheriff's Lt. Pat Rowland said they were saturating the area with Sno-Cats and ATVs, looking for Jennifer, 38, and Keith Lee, 36, of Medford. The two set out Tuesday morning in their electric blue, all-wheel-drive Subaru but told no one exactly where they were going. Keith Lee is diabetic, a relative said. A search and rescue spokeswoman, Deana Carvalho, said Thursday morning the couple was not found overnight.

(Actually, they were found. Check the Survival thread)

It seems that Bigfoot or Yeti is alive and well and living in the Eastern European nation of Bulgaria, according to some cryptozoology fans in that country.

Bigfoot takes a dump.
Film at 11, 1, 3 and 5pm.

Sharp-eyed Bigfoot hunters have noticed something odd in the the background of an 2001 IMAX nature film.

The film, Great North, described by producers as featuring "the wild vistas of some of the world's most spectacular landscapes," may have picked up something a little bit wilder than the average reindeer. During a sequence showing migrating caribou a dark figure - apparently a bipedal hominid - is shown for a tantalizingly brief few seconds. The figure rises from a ditch, moves to the right of the screen, then squats back down out of sight.
