K1A1 wire stock mod options

The K1A1 is fantastic, I'm just not loving all aspects of the collapsing wire stock.

Does anyone know if anyone made an option for somehow changing the wire stock so that a K1A1 user doesn't have to rest their cheek on the wire? F'r instance, HK91 users might favor the regular buttstock over getting infamously whacked in the face with the collapsibe stock that H&K offered.

Wrapping the stocks in paracord or something like that doesn't appeal to me either, as that would immobilize the stock. Maybe I'm just going to have to learn to love it as is.

But, if there are any options, I'd appreciate knowing about them.

Thanks. That looks like it might be the only option.

Out of curiosity... will the Franklin Binary trigger work in the DR200
I currently have AR trigger, hammer, sear and selector in rifle.
All work fine, the selector is a bit notchy, but other than that works as it should.

Apex has a stock that should fit. Believe it was made by Lage.

Small diameter/profile wire stocks are what they are...uncomfortable to shoot.
Whether it's an underfolder AK, an H&K 91 A3, or a K1A1 they all kinda suck for recoil against your cheek when using a proper cheek weld.
I'm currently looking for a K1A1 for my collection but I plan on SBR'ing it to 12.4" and keeping the wire stock.
The shorter barrel length will still work fine since they are overgassed with the 16" barrel, and with the shorter barrel there will be less gas and the resulting recoil to impact my cheekbone.
Only other permanent mod I might consider doing is cutting another adjustment notch in the wire stock for an intermediate position...and that's not for sure since I don't have one in my possession at the moment.
Add a 90 degree safety, a Geissele trigger, and some type of low profile scope mount rail, if one ever becomes available, and I figure I'll have a pretty compact truck gun even with a 5.56mm suppressor hung off the end.
