Unhappy I haz gear envy

Over coffee and while starting my day this morning, I watched a brief video a friend put up on Facebook of his hog hunt last night taken by his new Pulsar IR night vision optic. He's running that and a can on his AR and managed to whack four hogs before they realized what was happening. I messaged him and he shot me a photo of the rifle. It's purdy....

Later, it occurred to me that a can and night optic would be strong hog medicine on my AR-10. And a lot of fun too.

But...I've spent ~$3500 repairing my "new" F-150 and I have a baby on the way. So, no fun purchases for easttex for a while.

So, I'll sit here and ponder the mods I've been planning for 2020. And save my pennies. Someday!!

I am familiar with the pvs 14 , I used one with a PEQ2 on a m4

It gave u a decisive edge over the enemy who didnít understand the formula for ice cubes

you have a bad case of "the-gimmie-wantme-gets"

many of the members here suffer extensively from this affliction

be very careful, attempting self-medication for this often causes divorce

Meh. Gun fads come and go (as do guns). Focus on your wife, and the baby.
THAT is an investment you'll not regret, and one that pays dividends over a lifetime.
Not pimping out an AR-10 to impress your friends for a hunting trip or two.

My wife and I have been trying for that little equity for 2+ years now. I'm not worried about child support or alimony. We're both actually pretty excited about the little one.

Also surprisingly, my wife has never once questioned anything I've spent money on. He dad has every tool and piece of equipment under the sun so she's used to it. I provide her a good home and she never goes without. So if I want a new AR or something, she just keeps on truckin'.

I'm more lamenting the fact that I've seen something I kinda want but I know I can't have it for a while.

Waiting to buy thermal will also make it cheaper.

Should have gotten a Tundra. Buy once cry once. Except sometimes at the filling station.

If you have the tools/equipment/machinery, Form 1 a can - cheaper and much, much faster than the traditional Form 4 transfer.
