It's time to play.. Name that Puppy

Well.. I went to shoot IDPA last night and outside the gun range I found this little stray pup that's maybe 8 weeks old and looking in pretty sad shape so of course I took pity on the poor thing, brought it home and took it to the Vet's this morning. So now I suppose it's time to give this poor little pup a name..

Suggestions? It's a girl btw.. and possibly a boxer / golden mix.

Good find Jen or the other way around.

I have used the naming convention of where ever I got the animal, it got that name.

Tubby = found under a bath tub during the blizzard of 1983

Cecil = The county he was found

Connie = North of the Coniwingo dam

Stuart = Stuarts Draft VA. SPCA

What was the name of that range?

How about "Twink"? she seems to have a bit of twinkle in her eyes, or "Sparks" since they seem to sparkle too.
Or you could just call her Jenni

In the pic her eyes look extremely blue, I assume that it's a reflection of some type, or are her eyes really that blue?

Not exactly a location, but from IDPA, you could get Heidi.

Nope..it's the reflection from the barrel of Jen's .45 after the little fleabag caused about $500.00 in flea abatement bills!

Jen just wants to know what name to put on the little marker in the yard.

"LUCKY"

A friend found a kitten struggling in a ditch flooded with water about four years ago. They were trying to find a good name for him. I suggested "Lucky" and it seemed to fit. (The only reason we had stopped along the highway was because a piece of plywood had blown off the trailer.)

At the time, we were on our way to a friend's place to start building a shooting platform (deck) for our own private range. Coincidence??? Must be something about going shooting and finding stray animals!

Maybe she can put "Firestarter" on it, then the pup will have something to aim at when she squats.

I have to go along with Gypsy, she was wandering when you found her, is a mixed breed, and just has that ragamuffin puppy dog look that the name Gypsy would go with.

A friend of mine in New ORleans named their cat spodabee cause the large black cop that pulled it out of a raging torrent in a storm drain said, "that cat spodabee dead" It stuck and that cat is now queen bee of the household.
My vote is Spodabee or Spoda.
