G3 flash hider and TD pin question

Is hand tight considered acceptable for the FH, and that little detent spring does all the work? Or is it supposed to be torqued to a spec? The slots in the front are for wire cutting or for a torquing tool?

Also, does anybody know what the proper hole size spec is for the hand guard and rear assembly pushpins? My front HG pushpin is waaaay too tight in the diameter.

the sling buckle fits the flash hider. Hand tight using the buckle as a wrench - or any scrap of angle iron.

front hole is 6mm for 5.96mm pin
