Its a mad house...

We live on the planet of the apes..

https://www.zerohedge.com/economics/...uct-taped-wall

"On Friday, we reported on the latest bizarre milestone in the "art" world, when a banana duct-taped to a wall sold for $120,000 at that excess-liquidity conclave of ultra rich and other wannabe poseurs known Art Basel Miami Beach. Worse, a second banana duct-taped to a wall also sold for $120,000. Yet even worse than that, a third banana duct-taped to a wall is expected to sell for $150,000 and so on.
Then on Saturday, at around 1:45pm, the art world was shocked when a random man, allegedly a performance artist, ate said duct-taped banana that sold earlier this week for $120,000.

New York-based performance artist David Datuna ate the banana early on Saturday afternoon in front of a stunned convention full of "art" lovers most of whom had no idea whether they were witnessing even more "art", of just some clueless rando eating the world's most discussed "art" exhibit, the gallery told the Miami Herald."

And if you buy the “art” you get a certificate because the banana will rot. A certificate.

Same morons that want to take your guns.

Somebody is laundering money. Nobody, but nobody is "stupid" enough to pay money for that kind of "art". Unless, they are laundering money. The only stupid people are those who think this shit is real.

I would say that was money laundering - but you never know!

Not money laundering, money printing.

The FED has pumped out $Trillions into the economy and when you are near the FED spigot you can't spend it fast enough on sane purchases ....... or even on crazy purchases like hookers and blow... so that leaves insane frivolous purchases like a banana taped to a wall.

Max tried another question. "What sort of people live about here?"
"In THAT direction," the Jin said, waving its right paw round, "lives a Han: And in THAT direction," waving the other paw, "lives a Ming Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad."
"But I don't want to go among mad people," Max remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Jin: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Max.
"You must be," said the Jin, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Hiding in plain sight - exchange for services rendered!
Tho' there was that incident at The Nat. Art G., in the UK, back in the 80's when a Modern 'Sculpter'(!) was commissioned(@$25K) to do 'one of his sculptures', to be part of an ensemble exhibition of up and coming artists, he agreed - his submission turned out to be '24 bricks and a hand full of straw', arranged in a Pile! Of course everyone went berserk, the media had the proverbial field day for days - slandering, that 'it' was a waste of taxpayers money, the artist was a hack etc.....! The 'artist' meanwhile was collecting all the media, print and the such - and made a multimedia presentation to the National Gallery govnyuk's committee, in answer to all those slanderous media claims - citing the massive publicity the Gallery got for free, and reminding them that the turnstiles had gone ballistic - "Henry Moore, couldn't do that!" - A Skateboarding Duck - an 'inciting' news stimulus, the reaction is monitored!!

How do I get closer to the spigot? That unlimited hookers and blow sounds interesting for a few weeks.

Gotta get in with GOLDman Sachs. They are 1st in line at the spigot which has been WIDE GUSHINGLY OPEN. Primary dealer, all the inside dope and strings at the FED, rotating Dept of Treasury.

They NEVER lose money, if they do the taxpayers bail them out.

They never go to jail either, at least the higher ups no matter how many frauds and rackets they instigate and get caught at.
Get caught in a $6 billion Malaysian fraud, no big deal and that buys a lot of goofy shit like a banana taped to the wall.

Of course like most crime organizations, you gotta know a guy or two with references to get in, and will have to prove your loyalty.

In one week that $120,000 Banana will have drooped and be leaking banana oil on the floor..............

That art is a euphemistic statement about always being hard and ready for sex.
Likely gay sex, as the yellow color stands for hepatitis.

Then.... A performance artist painted the empty wall where the banana had been hanging with " Epstein didn't kill himself".

A spokesperson for Popeyes confirmed to Fox News that the Chicken Sandwich was included as a piece in the famous art festival. Like the infamous banana, the popular sandwich was duct-taped to a canvas.

The piece, officially named “The Sandwich,” is listed at $120,003.99 and is being described as “a mixed media work of art consisting of a toasted brioche bun, two pickles, fried chicken, mayo and duct tape over a canvas.”

It was featured at the San Paul Gallery Urban Art display.
