Exercising the Bula UHBAR .308

Got out for a short time on my range today with my Bula Defense Systems XM21 version #1 with a Bula UHBAR in .308 set in a JAE chassis and a Shooting sight adjustable trigger with their lightened hammer. Scoped with a $600. Hi-Lux Phenom 5-30x56 FFP mounted with NF 34mm rings.
Ran 10 rnds to warm her up into 1.2" and then shot another 10 into .90" at 100 yds shot from a loaded magazine. Ammo is DAG Berdan brass with Tula primers, 136 gr fb bullet over 45 gr of Varget. Whatta hobby. Sure can see the heartbeat with 30x magnification. Temp 80 with some humidity and about 10 knot breeze from 2 oclock.Oh yea, shot off my 3 legged portable bench.

Thank you Sir. I have been working up to accurate M14 type rifles for over 50 years now. Finally have a system of operation that will provide sub moa 10 rnd groups in .308 and sub 3/4 moa 10 rnd groups in 6.5 Creedmoor.
Whatta hobby.

Nice set up. Seems it all came together well by looks of the results on paper with the help of a pretty good shooter behind it

Great!
I can see by the paper target you chose that you live by the adage: "aim small - miss small"

I too, enjoy shooting such things as target pasters at 100, with good glass.

I just happen to have a pretty good pile of the 50' 22 targets from years gone by. The reticle on the scope brackets that size bull very nicely at 100yds.
Pretty inexpensive scope, but the HL works like a champ.

When the shooting iron weighs in at 20 lbs, what is another pound or two.

Beautiful rifle and scope is equally impressive. A lot of scope for the money and your work on these is at top of game. Semper fi
