AFT process times with Gov Shutdown

Haven't seen a post about this yet, does anybody know if the Gov Shutdown is affecting ATF and class III transfer times? I have something in transfer and wondering what the impact is going to be.

You mean title 2 weapon transfers?

Not heard of anyone being approved the last week or so.

Someone is still answering the phones the last time I called, but I have no idea if examiners are behind their desks.

This isn't going to affect any government transfers though. They're exempt from it in the first place. NFA branch doesn't even know how many machineguns are in the registry.

According to them, there are about a half million.

Despite that there are more than twice that many active military, not counting LEO and Federal agencies. So, you know they're not really keeping count of their shit, right?

They are, I've read a few articles saying that while the checks/cards are still being processed, (since Bank of America does that part), but they're just piling up after that.
