Which shotguns can shoot the mini slugs?

Any help here? Winchester 1300?

The price ir sure right on the 320, does it have removable plugs in it to reduce the capacity? 4+1 seams low for such a long mag tube.

There may have been a plug in it, I don't remember. Mine holds 5 - 2-3/4", 6 - 2-1/4", or 7 - 1-3/4" shells in the magazine tube.

Is there a full length mag tube available for the 320? The capacity seems low for such a long gun. I have a 1300 combat that holds 7+1. 2 3/4" shells I believe.

I think we're talking about two different versions of the 320. Mine is like this:

I believe I read that Aguila designed their mini shells around the Winchester 1300, specifically.

I read that somewhere years ago, I've got mini slugs and a 1300, never the two have met. I don't shoot much if at all and was looking for any firsthand info. Thank you for the reply.

Well any scatter gun will shoot them. Feeding reliably from a tube or mag is an entirely different animal. Some have zero issues. Others will need a little fine tuning. And still others wont do it no matter what you do.

I've used them in a CZ coach double and, of course, what could go wrong? Originally bought the shells to try in an M-37 Ithaca 8 shot riot gun. But after consideration that the Ithaca gun has a more closed action, I decided against trying them there. If one of those shorties got hung up feeding then the gun would be rendered inoperable with no easy way to clear the jam. The M-37 loads and ejects from the bottom. Best to use the shells it was designed for and use up those shorties in my double.

Any double barrel in the proper gauge will do. If it takes more than two shots, you should be using your FAL anyway.

I have a pair of 1980s vintage Winchester Ranger pumps with dual action bas that will cycle them. Bought the pair NIB cheap enough to chop barrels and have back bored to still be able to use the Winchoke. Both were converted to inexpensive defensive shotguns that if stolen out of a truck had not lost much money. Both have longest magazine tube they could hold chopped to 18" and tube is still 1/2" longer than barrel.

Also have a Browning A5 with Nordic Systems +5 extended magazine tube which I adjusted the friction rings till it feeds the short shells. Can't make a 3" magnum A5 cycle them but an old style 2 3/4" with a few break downs and reassembly adjusting the friction ring system and they will work. Have over a half dozen A5s but the short shell modified with Nordic tube holds 16 of the short Aguila slugs.

That's a lot of slugs to fling at an intruder if it happens to be closest long gun when an zombie is allowed in so we can see if sixteen slugs will part him into halves or quarters. Was thinking start at grin and squeeze trigger as recoil lifts shotgun and see if there is a left and right side laying in floor for the coroner to clean up. I believe sixteen slugs spaced about 1.5" apart vertically starting at groin will be enough to even split the top of the skull as gun runs dry.
