Probably a Century L1A1 receiver with a serial number beginning with ICL. There's a picture of one in this thread. https://www.falfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=425098

Please pardon the thread hijack, but would someone please post a picture of unibrow feed ramps versus non-unibrow feed ramps? Thanks.

Top photo in DakTo's post is the so-called "unibrow" feed ramp. Lower photo is the so-called "widows peak" feed ramp. Don't know who came up with that nomenclature -- their identity is lost in antiquity. ![]() |

![]() A widow's peak is a V-shaped point in the hairline in the center of the forehead. Hair growth on the forehead is suppressed in a bilateral pair of periorbital fields. Without a widow's peak, these fields join in the middle of the forehead so as to give a hairline that runs straight ![]() A unibrow (called synophrys in medicine) is a single eyebrow created when the two eyebrows meet in the middle above the bridge of the nose.

I had a used L1A1 build that had one of those. The magwell was stupidly tight and had to slap mags in with effort to get them to seat and lockup. If it truly is ridiculously cheap, that's the only way I'd go for one again.

I vaguely recall an FN 50-41 or 50-42 with a unibrow.

I think of Eddie Munster as having the most prominent widow's peak. ![]()
