Santa Fe G3 on GB

Have a look at this beauty. Right up there with the Mars Cetme rifles albeit a tad more expensive.

No relation, just thought some may find it interesting. Seller also has a nice FAL G for sale.

Considerably rarer than a MARS CETME. IIRC around 1,000 CETMES came in in the late 60s and early 70s, roughly 100 G3’s came in in three batches in 1962. Guy has some nice stuff for sure.

Check out some of his other auctions. Semi auto FAMAS, Chicom Draganov, Valmet, etc. Great stuff.

With 3 days to go he has over $30K in bids for the FAMAS: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/866467305

Very pretty rifle but not $12,000 pretty. Have considered swapping one of my preban HK 91s over to wood furniture just because they look nice but both are very low round count, 100% original, have all paperwork, boxes, everything as shipped. Everything preban is getting so expensive almost don't want to shoot them much less make any modifications even if reversable. Be my luck would damage something doing the parts swap.

I think $12k is relatively low for what the 1962 guns tend to bring on the rare occasion that they change hands. $15-18k is what I’ve seen the last few go for. Then there was the one 3/62 gun that brought like $36k on GB a few years back. The 3/62s are the most desirable and rarest of the 1962 batches. Neat old guns, but I get your point huey.

There’s always interest for guns like those.
