... you know me well... the deluxe pack has me smelting some INFI for the joint. Sedation is extra, it can be a firm smack in the jaw with my lead lined glove, a bottle of cheap red or something more fancy...all depends on your budget !!

Just had a visit yesterday with my surgeon 4 months and a couple of weeks post surgery. My knee is still giving me hell {serious swelling and pain} anytime I have any resistance or weight applied during my physical therapy and normal activity. His conclusion is scar tissue is raising hell with me... He says the scar tissue is causing impingement and also irritating the bursa sacks. He wants me to go through a one month course of a heavy dose of Prednisone then a month without the Prednisone and if the problems are still present he will have to go back inside and deal with all the scar tissue.. I have the range of motion up to 118* on the bend and -2* on the extension but with pain.

Yep I'm for sure getting tired of this shit!!

These couple pictures are a typical evening after morning physical training.

Sorry to head that friend. I haven't gone a day without sending prayers up for you. Sure makes me want to avoid getting mine replaced....

At least it sounds like you have good doctor care. My cousin had a hip replacement last week. Hospital kicked him to the curb day after surgery....he asked, "What about physical thereapy?"....Doc, "You don't need it, just walk on it". I guess thats the VA for ya...

Will keep the good vibs coming your way brother.

My surgeon assures me that most of my problems stem from the multiple previous procedures and total reconstruction including hardware that was added. He says the other knee should be a cake walk...

Just keep looking at the end goal and result. Mom is FINALLY making some serious improvement. Walking without a cane, etc.
my old boss’s Mom was 90 years old and had the same procedure done. She went on a European walking trip 2 weeks after the procedure

Hang in there and know we are thinking of you.

Hope you are getting the care you need, Sportsnut. I am gonna be disappointed if you can't stay on your knees as long as you always have, with proper kneepads. I dont want to be calling that last one, the good old days...

You need to get fixed mate, visit Aus with a gumby knee and you will just get chased down and eaten by the first hungry Drop Bear you come across.....you have to make it at least a bit of a challenge...

I had to look up the habitat region of a drop bear. Fortunately the Australian Museum had what I needed, in this link. Fortunately, for Sportsnut, DropBears dont inhabit pubs or brothels, even though I was sure they would.
