Solar powered battery chargers

Has anyone bought a solar powered battery charger? Or has done some research on them?

Thinking about adding one to my stash.

It would be for recharging ham radio batteries, etc, not necessarily car batteries. I don't know, but they may be one and the same. That's why I'm asking.

Thanks!

I have a “suitcase” 100w (two 50W panels hinged) setup I keep with the camper. It works OK to keep the batteries (two 6V golf cart) up between trips. Also kind of neat to play with and it does actually work pretty well. I would hate to depend on it, but suppose it would easily charge phones and such.

I run two Battery Tender brand 5 watt solar panels on my shed in Fairfield ID, and my 4 wheelers that I plow snow with never have a problem starting even with temps down to -20.

Most that REI sells are good to go these days. They do test most of what they sell out in the wild.

My house is solar/off grid since 2015.

Narrow it down a bit?

OP said ham radio batteries and maybe car batteries so assume he is talking smaller units. Add all the panels you can and roll up panels are easy to stash. Have been putting a small roll up on top of my pack and medium across back of my pack so even when walking can be pulling a little charge even if panels are not always facing optimum direction.
